All The Reviews Without Any Of The Spin

Why am I even reviewing these editors anyways?

Throughout my time learning to code, I've experimented with various text editors to find the one that best suits my needs. Each editor has its own strengths and weaknesses, and I've compiled reviews of three popular options: Notepad++, Sublime Text, and Visual Studio Code. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced developer, I hope these reviews help you make an informed decision about which editor to use for your coding projects.

A note from the reviewer

Simply put, there is no 'one editor to rule them all'. While I will give you my opinions and tell you what I think about each one, at the end of the day your preference will vary from mine. There is no right or wrong answer to what you should use for HTML, python or any language --- there is only what works for you and what you feel most productive in. As someone who spends half their time editing files in VIM or nano CLI, if it works then it works!
